Biography

I consider myself a Twin Cities native, born in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  I spent most of my school-age years in Winona, Minnesota, but returned to Minneapolis to attend the University of Minnesota.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism (News-Editorial), I lived in various places in the Twin Cities metro, finally settling in the St. Paul suburbs, where I’ve lived for over 30 years.

I’m married and have two sons.

I worked in Twin Cities radio for almost 20 years as a news reporter, announcer, music director, assistant program director and program director.  I worked in internet radio as a channel program director and content generator, interviewing artists and auditioning music.

I was a freelance columnist and reporter for area community newspapers.

I’m currently a teaching assistant at Mahtomedi schools, a scriptwriter and an author.

I feel like I’ve been writing forever, and like I just started yesterday.
